CHRIS RYAN'S STRIKE BACK

SAS Sargeant, blamed for the death of three men under his command, by the enemy, during a rescue operation, days before Operation Iraqi Freedom, endeavours to clear his name and ends up working with a special branch of the MI6.
The author of the novel on which this show is based upon, Chris Ryan, a former SAS man himself, provides us with some insight of British military MO and at the same time a story line both interesting and easy to follow. Action scenes are plentiful and decently shot and Richard Armitage, playing the main characters role, John Porter, with all that running around in the desert with an AK slung across his back, kinda reminds me character Nathan Drake from the computer game series "Uncharted".
Also starring in this show, in a secondary role, is the actor Andrew Lincoln, known for his part as the Rick Grimes character in our beloved "Walking Dead".
A negative point about this show is that, this "one man army guy kills all the bad guys" is just a little bit too seen. However the show is very entertaining and definitely captured my attention.

The series has already signed for a third season in the US and has 10 parts. The cast hasn´t been revealed yet but early this year Strike Back 3 started shooting in South Africa.

Worth watching!
